Beacon Mid-Atlantic

Disaster communications for the Mid-Atlantic.

When towers, phones and power go down, we stand up the communications that relief organizations and public safety agencies need, from radio networks to phone banks, and keep them running.

Our mission

Beacon Mid-Atlantic keeps people connected during a crisis. We close the gap between the moment a disaster hits and the moment normal communications are restored, so first responders, coordination centers and relief organizations can keep working in the meantime.

Our teams deploy professional radio and phone equipment across the Mid-Atlantic, and our members train year-round so they're ready when they're called.

About us

A radio network that runs without the grid.

The RapidCom Interoperability Network links relief organizations and agencies across county and state lines. Sites run on battery and solar and connect over several independent paths, so a local outage doesn't take the network down.

BeaconESS

Software for volunteer and combination fire, EMS and rescue departments. It puts the active call on a screen in the station, sends call alerts to members' phones and keeps the department's records in one place.
